Barb recently stayed at the Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth for an ASIST Training. While she was there, she recorded this video about our decision to cancel this years Hope Starts Here event.
For the last 20 years, the event has been a day to support those impacted by suicide. But, due to current Covid guidelines, the healing environment would not be the same (seating limits, masks, no hugging, etc).
Although it breaks our hearts to cancel this event, please know that plans are already underway for next year’s event on November 20!
